Trees4Trees™ is a non-profit foundation established in Indonesia by responsible furniture manufacturers and their customers worldwide. Trees4Trees™ empowers local communities through partnership reforestation initiatives and related education programs. By increasing the area of community planted and owned forests, livelihood assets are created, the negative effects of deforestation are reduced and the environment is renewed.

Activities
Our regular activities include:
- recruiting new planters,
- producing & distributing seedlings,
- monitoring planted trees,
- training field coordinators and farmers,
- delivering education in schools and;
- working with program partners to improve our program activities.

Participants
Old Java produces fabulous handcrafted furniture combining quality and value. The furniture collection is internationally recognized for its simplicity and style. The furniture is skillfully created from teak and mahogany (new and reclaimed) and natural materials including leather, rattan and banana fibre. Sound joinery techniques, traditional carving and hand-finishing of the furniture completes the Old Java ‘look’.
Old Java is committed to sourcing it's plantation grown timbers from communities in Java and is proud to be a manufacturing participant in the Trees4Trees Program.
