- Monitoring the accuracy of our mapping data and the suitability of the wood species chosen by farmers Follow-up training of field coordinators. Review of planning activities in Sragen, Klaten, Tegal. We undertake these meeting to identity short comings in the way each Management Unit has carried out socialization, data collection, mapping and to take corrective steps before the actual planting takes place.
July 2008
- In the 13 management areas, the program was introduced to villagers who took part in planning species to be planted and identified areas to plant. The plots of land for be planted are usually deforested or land too dry to grow rice or other food crops. The areas were mapped.
- The labels say that albazzia, teak and mango will be planted in these fields when the raining season starts.

- Cooperation agreements with agricultural schools in Purbalingga, Banyumas, Cilacap, Tegal and Brebes.
April 2008
- Our management system now covers a significant part of Central Java.
- The monitoring system is tested on the first plantings by the Bawen Management Unit. Results show that 81% of the seedling from 2007 survived. A yellow label mark plot of land. Each plot of land has a number of trees each with red label.
- Trees-4-Trees? started cooperating with the Geographic of Institute Faculty of Social Sciences, state University Semarang (UNNES) in a project called Mapping Community Forests in Java A yellow label mark plot of land.
- A 2-days training seminar was held for our Field Coordinators. Topics were Social Consultation, Silviculture Technology and Mapping. The use of a GPS was a new experience for most.
January 2008
- Cooperation agreements made with agricultural schools in Jepara, Pati, Boyolali, Magelang and Temanggung. 5500 mango trees are distributed and planted.
- Training program held at Tumpangkrasek elementary school in Kudus. The children planted 130 trees.
November 2007
- Workers from PT Country Form Indonesia plant 1300 mango trees.
December 2007
- Cooperation agreements made with agricultural school in Bawen, Sragen, Klaten. 10,600 mango seedlings are inspected. A few are planted on school land, but the great majority is distributed to villagers and planted.
- Training programs are conducted in the Aloysius School, Semarang.
- And in Semarang International School the students learned about this importance of trees, how to plant them and care for them.
